Trinity Broadcasting Network, America’s favorite faith channel, is partnering with Joel Osteen, America’s most watched minister, to broadcast “Night of Hope” a television special from New York City in the brand new Yankee Stadium. TBN has exclusive rights to the April 25th event, which will air worldwide.

The Osteen’s ‘Night of Hope’ special will be the first non-baseball event at the new stadium, which officially opened April 3 in the Bronx. The evening will feature messages of encouragement from Joel and Victoria Osteen, along with music performed by Grammy award-winning artist Israel Houghton, Dove award winner Cindy Cruse-Ratcliff and the Lakewood Church choir. Pastor Osteen will also bless Yankee stadium during the event.

The Osteens are no strangers to sports arenas. Their own Lakewood Church, with a membership in the tens of thousands, relocated to Houston’s Compaq Center, former home of the NBA’s Houston Rockets. Joel Osteen has addressed millions more at other sports arenas and venues across the U.S., Canada and Europe.

TBN’s co-sponsorship of the Yankee Stadium event is the latest in a series of substantial commitments the network has made to the New York Metro area. Last year, TBN unveiled its new state-of-the-art HD studios at WTBY, Channel 27, located at the former Century Center for the Performing Arts in the heart of Manhattan. The network restored the theater to its former grandeur, a process that took nearly two years. WTBY is one of TBN’s 34 U.S. stations—most in major markets—that are currently multicasting five faith-based digital channels offering programming for virtually every demographic.
